Le 19 novembre, notre projet de théâtre intergénérationnel a fait un grand bond en avant. Grâce à la venue dans notre communauté d'un membre de la Troupe du jour de Saskatoon, les enfants de l'école Boréale ont pu participer à leur premier atelier de théâtre.
Quelques aînés se sont joints à nous pour parler de leurs rôles dans une pièce qui devrait voir le jour avant Noël.
Le projet est de permettre aux jeunes et aux moins jeunes de se retrouver sur les planches, de découvrir le monde des Arts de la scène et d'échanger sur leurs expériences. Les aînés participants ont, eux-mêmes, joué dans des pièces d'Odette Carignan. Au mois de mars 2014, la dernière pièce écrite par Mme Carignan devrait voir le jour.
En attendant qu'un autre projet voit le jour, mais... chut ! C'est un autre projet.

November 19th, our intergenerational project has made a huge leap forward! Thanks to a member from "La Troupe du Jour" from Saskatoon, the Boréale's School children had the opportunity to participate in their first drama workshop.
Some elders joined us to talk about their roles in the play and practicing the play will begin before Christmas.
Through this project, we want both youngsters and elders from the community to be on the stage, to learn and play from each other and thus adding to their knowledge. The elders played in Odette Carignan's plays for years. In March 2014, Mrs Carignan's last play will be presented to the community.
And that will be before another project we will work on but... shhh! It's not yet ready to be reveiled!
