November 2014, on the sidelines of the programming, an exhibition devoted to the war was set up in the Centre Culturel Royer.
We discussed the lives of soldiers and
civilians in the conflicts that have marked the history of Canada.
The photographs and documents showed to the
public were collected through the Archives department and were also lent by
some members of the community.
Every November, until the year 2018 –which will
mark the signing of the armistice, a hundred years ago– the Centre Culturel will host this
exhibition that will grow with time.
We designed this exhibition to show the role
played by local soldiers in conflicts the Canadian nation was involved with.
